I’ve decided, once again, to become a little more organised, a little less scattered, less prone to feeling at the end of a day that it has been a wasted day and I’m that much closer to death with little to show for it. In particular, I tend to put work above anything else, and then also to faff around while working, so that there is little time for things that feel genuinely fulfilling – writing, reading, studying Spanish or Chinese, etc. So I’ve laid out a little plan for myself, and will hope to follow it through in the days to come, aided to a small extent by technology (daily checklists). I’ve never quite managed it before, but having reached the age where more than half of my life is definitely over, it seems important to keep trying.
Writing this post, a daily blog post, is an item on the checklist. So, it’s done.
